Is anyone aware of WA holiday dataset that can be used programmatically? If not, is anyone looking at developing this in the near future?

The Australian Government’s data service (it’s the federal version of data.wa.gov.au) has a Public Holiday API endpoint that serves JSON:

It combines all state public holidays, but you can filter the API to fetch only Western Australian Public Holidays.

Example fetch: api/3/action/datastore_search?resource_id=d256f989-8f49-46eb-9770-1c6ee9bd2661&q=wa

Caveat: I have not personally used it.
