I want to note that WA is not listed on an Australian government website which gives us a snapshot into the mental health of Australian’s.
I know that WA ambulances are not controlled by the state - I believe that they are privatised? But it means that data that would be very much helpful for a story we are writing is not accessible.
We want to know how many callouts in 2020 did 000 or 131444 get for people threatening self-harm and did that number go up or down from 2018/2019.
Any assistance would be much welcomed.
